Paleolicious Whey and Cacao Protein Balls

These amazing little balls of protein are delicious and so easy to make. They are perfect paleo snack and great for the kids lunch box.

These bite sized balls of energy are packed full of protein, good fats andantioxidants. They will leave you feeling full and satisfied but with no added sugar or sweeteners you won't get that dredded sugar crash.

This recipe is one of our favourites as its completely guilt free!

Ingredients

70g Paleolicious Whey & Cacao protein
1 cup almond meal
1/2 cup nut butter (ie: almond or peanut butter)
1/4 cup maple syrup
2 tablespoons desiccated coconut

Preparation

  1. Place protein powder and almond meal in a medium-size bowl and mix.
  2. Then, add in nut butter and maple syrup and mix again.
  3. Using a tablespoon, scoop out dough into your palms and roll into balls, then roll in coconut. Repeat.

    This recipe makes 15 balls of goodness.

    Tip - If you aren't keen on the nut butter simple substitute for Organic Coconut oil. This will give a rich smooth truffle like texture and subtle coconut flavour.

    Feel free to mix it up and add in your favourite nuts and dried berries for a bit of variety.
